CHAPTER 1
Introduction to Energy
To master social skills all we have to do is learn one word. RESPECT. We are able to use the word in a sentence but how many of us have taken the time to grasp an understanding of what respect really means? Respect means to view something or someone as part of our larger whole. When we find ourselves having high anxiety levels and we can’t seem to reduce the tension throughout our system, we may ask ourselves: Do I respect the energy around me? Do I view the vibrations that are contributing to my tension as part of my larger whole? The answer is no. If we view the energies and vibrations around us as part of our larger whole, we would be able to embrace them and harmonize to the same rhythm. The tension which causes the anxiety we feel is actually our own energy fighting itself in an attempt to fight off the energies around us. This inner fighting is referred to as: “The internal war we tend to ignore”. We would not wage war with the energies around us if we learn to respect energy.
How can you respect energy if you don’t believe it exists? Many of us don’t believe in anything we can’t see. The definition of energy is the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity. Since we can’t see strength and vitality, we tend to dismiss energy as just another word instead of viewing energy as an actual entity. Learning to appreciate the strength and vitality behind physical and mental activity is learning to respect energy.
Once we have a respect for energy, we can begin to show our respect for the energies around us. There is a huge difference between waging war on the energies around us and showing respect for the energies around us. One breeds tensions and anxiety while the other induces a sense of oneness and synchronicity. According to the laws of physics, everything is in a constant state of motion. This includes inanimate objects as well as the people around us. It is important for us to understand that in a social environment all of the objects and people contain energy and these energies are not there to hurt us. When we feel different energies and attempt to fight them off, we are entering a losing battle. Energy does not die and will not leave unless the people and objects from which the energy is coming from leave. If you’re uncomfortable around unfamiliar people and would like to keep your personal energy free of the tension you feel in social situations, either remove yourself from around social energies or practice R.A.R.E. exercises to Recognize, Accept, Respect and Embrace the energies around you.
Recognize Energy
Strengthening social skills without the use of controlled substances requires addressing the elephant in the room: ENERGY. By recognizing energy we overcome the denial of energy’s existence and its effects on our social behaviors. The majority of people in our age of social media have to relearn unlearned concepts such as energy awareness. One technique used to develop an awareness for surrounding energy is R.A.R.E. Energy. Recognize, Accept, Respect and Embrace energy. In order for us to accept, respect and embrace surrounding energy patterns we must first recognize that the energy around us exists. Modern science confirms that everyone and everything is in a constant state of motion including inanimate objects. This subatomic motion is driven by energy. There is energy in rocks, dirt, seeds, water and the air we breathe. All things seen and unseen indoors and outdoors have unique energy patterns.
The term “use your inside voice” gives reference to the difference in energy patterns influencing acoustics inside and outside. When we are outside, our voice does not bounce back at us like it does when we are inside. The vast amounts of energy emanating from life outdoors is able to synchronize with other energies in the universe without crossing the path of your personal energy pattern. When you are inside, energies indoors emanating from the people around you are more likely to intersect with your energy during their expeditions. These energies can remain in their own lane while traveling or synchronize with other energies. When you feel other energy frequencies synchronizing with yours and you haven’t recognized what they are, you may attempt to fight them off.
Energy works to bring harmony not harm. When we attempt to weaponize our energy we have to take it out of its rhythmic order into non-melodic chaos causing internal turmoil which gives birth to tension, anxiety and social awkwardness. The same internal turmoil causes many of us to turn to drugs and alcohol in order to numb the senses so we won’t feel other energy frequencies as intensely. You might imagine other energies are a threat until you authorize your own energy to synchronize, replacing internal chaos with melody. Once you realize universal energy frequencies harmonize with your own energy pattern, you will eliminate the imaginary threat that has been keeping you away from social situations. You will no longer need to isolate or use drugs to coexist with others. Recognizing energy’s existence allows you to Accept the fact that your energy works in harmony with a universal orchestra inviting your mind to join the chorus.
Chapter 3
Accept Energy
R.A.R.E. Energy = 1. Recognize 2. Accept 3. Respect and 4. Embrace energy. This session will concentrate on accepting the energies around us. Some may think that to recognize is to accept. Recognizing is realizing the energies around us exist. We can recognize energies around us exist and still engage in battle with those energies. In the R.A.R.E. process, Accept involves understanding surrounding energies work in harmony with our own energy. When we accept other energy frequencies, we are opening up our world to the wonders of the world around us. When we are not accepting surrounding energies, we are doing one of two things:
1. Containing our personal energies so as not to cross paths with other energy frequencies: In this scenario, energy being contained is like anything else being compressed. It becomes compacted, more solid and more visible around us; a visible aura. It can appear as a radiant glow, a dark cloud or anything in between.
2. Using our energy to fight other energy frequencies: In this scenario, energy designated to attack other energies must first be weaponize inside the body by changing its rhythmic frequency into non-melodic chaos. It then emanates from our body to turn other energy frequencies into chaos. It may be counter attacked causing an energy battle that produces tension in the atmosphere. Just like a battle with people, an energy war will cause some energy patterns to be ripped apart, torn from their rhythmic harmony and added to the chaos. Since energy doesn’t die, some energies in the battle will be ripped apart and find a way back to their source of rhythmic integrity and continue to battle, seeking out chaotic energy to rip apart causing it to shatter, reassemble and so on. This continuous chaotic saga changes the composition of the atmosphere. The energy sent to fight does not discriminate. It will attack itself, energy coming from other people, plants, light and air as well. “the tension in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife.” Sound familiar?
When we accept the energies in our social setting, we are accepting all energy: From ourselves, other people, plants, the air we breathe etc. We can absorb chaotic energy and transform it into harmony. We gain a more thorough understanding of our own energy. The ancients say our physical body is a vessel used to transmit a unique energy pattern from the subconscious plain to the physical realm. Once we Accept the energies around us, we beneficially Accept the relationship between Self and our own unique energy patterns.
Chapter 4
Respect Energy
Once we recognize and accept surrounding energy, we have the necessary tools required to maintain a level of respect for the energies we accept. This session focuses on maintaining Respect for surrounding energies in various social settings as well as developing respect for the multitude of energy frequencies that make up our universe. Respect is viewing someone or something as a part of our larger whole and greater than physical characteristics. Energy is deserving of such a view. It is greater than our physical being and greater than our innate survival-driven consciousness of ego. The ego remains a part of us throughout our entire physical lifespan. Its main function is to ensure our physical survival. “Fire: Hot, No touch” “Cliff: High, No jump” “Hungry: Eat” etc. When it is time for mental growth, some of our survival instincts must die and make way for new thought. The ego will discourage such schools of thought. To elevate our consciousness beyond physical survival we need to become the master of our ego. In order to master the ego we must first recognize, accept and respect the ego and its function.
To know thyself is to know and transcend the ego. The ego’s sole purpose is to live. If we believe change is stressful/frightening, our ego will interpret this message as “Change is deadly”. Therefore, anything we view as being a change/death, the ego will sabotage. A more profitable career, a stable relationship, etc. Many people who sleep on the streets believe that staying in a shelter or with family or renting an apartment would be stressful changes. Their ego in turn will sabotage any of those changes/deaths before they can come to fruition. As long as they are able to scrounge enough food to stay alive, the ego’s fundamental requirement is satisfied. People don’t aspire to sleep on the streets but many don’t know how to convince the ego that changing this norm is not death.
We may believe that embracing surrounding energy will be a frightening change/death. Once we learn to respect energy, we convince our ego and belief system that this change is a new experience and a birth; not a death. We can effectively manage our ego and much more through the subconscious mind. The subconscious is influenced by energy transmissions from our belief system. The subconscious frequency does not recognize words. Once we Recognize, Accept, Respect and Embrace energy, we are able to influence other energy frequencies. Recognize energy’s existence, Accept energy’s kinship, Respect energy’s omnipresence and Embrace energy’s harmony.
CHAPTER 5
Embrace Energy
Once we Recognize, Accept and Respect the energy around us, it is time to Embrace it. If you ever sang in the shower you have already embraced surrounding energy frequencies. Water is visible, physical, liquid energy. The air we breathe is physical, invisible, wind energy. In order for our bodies to grow, we must physically embrace water by drinking it, and physically embrace air by breathing it. For our consciousness to grow, we must consciously embrace surrounding energy by absorbing it into our energy body like sunlight is absorbed by our physical bodies.
When we embrace air through breathing, it transforms inside of us to nourish our bodies. When we embrace water by drinking, it transforms in our system to provide vital nutrients. The sun leaves a physical impact on us when our physical bodies embrace the sun’s energy: Our skin changes color. Surrounding energy leaves a harmonious impact on us when we embrace surrounding energy frequencies: Our energy body’s harmony changes frequency to harmonize with the energies being embraced. Universal Harmony is the key. UNI means one (uni-brow = 1 eyebrow/ unicycle = 1 wheel) and VERSE means part of a song. By its etymology UNI- VERSE literally means one song. When we embrace the energy around us, we create a harmony with those energies through a unique single frequency or one verse. Thus, Universal Harmony is born through our embrace.
As humans, we are able to make a conscious decision to embrace other energy frequencies or to wage energy wars that take our energy off its natural path and rhythmic pattern. Water demonstrates the natural rhythm of energy more than any other visible element. Water will embrace high temperature, expand and become steam. It will embrace low temperature and contract to form ice. When water splashes in all directions, energy travels in all directions in a rhythmic frequency pattern. When your energy pattern embraces the energy frequency of splashing water, harmony ensues. We might start singing in the shower even when our singing voice is terrible. It takes less effort to embrace other people’s energy than to embrace water’s energy since humans share common energy emissions. It doesn’t matter whether the surrounding energy is stressful or chaotic. Our embrace can transform any energy frequency into harmony. By practicing R.A.R.E. energy, we learn we do not make our energy embrace surrounding energy. Instead, we learn how to allow our energy to Embrace surrounding energy frequencies.
